Steering - Rack and Pinion Assembly

When the electronic power steering (EPS) rack on certain Ram 1500 trucks fails and causes changes in steering effort, vibrations and heaviness in the steering wheel or other issues, don't settle for a remanufactured replacement. This Dorman OE FIX EPS rack assembly is constructed using 100% new components. It features redesigned electronics with additional surge protection and optimized component layout to reduce heat and electrical interference. In addition, a UV40 protective coating is applied to the PCB to help resist contamination or malfunction due to water, salt, dust and chemicals. This FMVSS-compliant solution has undergone try-on, corrosion, water intrusion and life-cycle testing to provide a quality fit and long service life. No dealer programming is needed, thanks to its proprietary software developed by Dorman that mimics all original equipment EPS rack functionality. Completing the installation is easy, using a calibration tool that many independent repair shops already have on hand.
