Butt Connector

Butt connectors are commonly used in automotive, marine, and other repairs to protect electrical connections from abrasions, mechanical abuse, water, salt and other contaminants. Each of the connectors in this 2-1 multi-wire weatherproof butt connector assortment is designed to enable a step-down from one wire gauge size to another, or as a multi-wire connector for a single wire gauge size. Constructed of multiple wall polyolefin with a meltable integral inner wall and a free-flowing adhesive lining, these heat shrink connectors securely encapsulate wires, prevent pull-outs, and provide a watertight seal. A convenient and clearly marked dashed line on the connectors enables quick identification of the connector's wire gauge range and crimp die set.
