The original equipment variable geometry turbocharger (VGT) actuator on certain Ram trucks equipped with 6.7L I6 engines can fail when the motor's solderless compliant pins separate from the printed circuit board assembly (PCBA). The dealer repair solution is to offer the same failure-prone design, inviting similar future failures caused by heat and internal component malfunctions during normal vehicle operation. This Dorman OE FIX VGT actuator is upgraded with soldered compliant pins for a more secure and trouble-free connection to the PCBA. The actuator is remanufactured to the highest industry standards in the USA at our advanced electronics facility, and thoroughly tested to help restore factory-spec turbo output.
